The use of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)

       Leader of GPR Auscultation, General Geosciences Services (GGS) mobilizes this technique to investigate the subsurface at high resolution, and to circumvent the following aspects:

  1. The quality of concrete and pavement inspection ;
  2. Auscultation of the underground concerning the Civil Engineering projects and infrastructures ;
  3. Specific studies for the development of archaeological sites ;
  4. Detection of gaps and cavities ;
  5. The reconstruction of underground networks (electricity, gas, water, sanitation, telecommunications, hydraulic…) and update as a GIS database and linked to a geographical network by GPS ;
  6. The Archaeological Investigation
  7. Detection of tunnels, pipelines and buried pipes.
